The first United Kingdom –Cameroon Trade and Investment forum has taken place in the Church House, London.
Cameroon’s Prime Minister Philemon Yang led a high level delegation comprising cabinet Ministers, Company managers and experts in specific domains.
The forum was not only organized to highlight the different investment opportunities in Cameroon but also to give top executives from the private and public sectors in Cameroon, an opportunity to exchange notes with their peers in United Kingdom.
As a follow up to the United Kingdom-Cameroon joint commission organized in London in 2013, Prime Minister Philemon Yang expounded on government policies to improve the business climate and attract foreign investors.
The British Foreign Office Minister for Africa, Mark Simmonds saluted the initiative which he stated, shall further strengthen commercial ties between the United Kingdom and Cameroon.
