The Cameroon army which has as motto "Honor and Fidelity" this morning issued a statement from its supreme command center at Quartier Generale in the nation's capital Yaounde detailing the aftermath of the Boko Haram attacks deep within the Mayo Tsanaga Division in the Extreme North Region of the country that occurred on the 21st and 22nd of September.
The Cameroon military statement revealed that 77 Boko Haram fighters were killed and many others captured.
The press release further noted that the army recorded heavy casualties among them Corporal Rene Lindjeck who led the commando mission against the leadership of the Boko Haram insurgence.
