Cameroon bids farewell to Chadian Ambassador

When leaving Cameroon after seven years as Ambassador of Chad, Yoossem-Kontou Noudjiamlao expressed satisfaction with his stay.

Taking advantage of the of State dinner held in his honor on August 25 in the salons of the Hilton hotel in Yaoundé, the onetime Dean of the diplomatic corps in Yaoundé, held at magnify cooperation between Chad and Cameroon, two countries United by history, sharing the same culture, the same traditions and determined to work every day for peace along their common border.

In his remarks, the Chadian diplomat did not failed to salute these joint projects together by the two countries, like the Chad-Cameroon pipeline, Ngaoundere-Touboro – Moundou road, their interconnection by optical fibre, the prolongation of the Ngaoundéré-N'Djamena railway and the announced extension of the Cameroonian electricity grid into Chad.

Not to mention the formation of many Chadian students in the universities in Cameroon. These initiatives and many others demonstrate sufficient good-neighbourly relationship between Cameroon and Chad.

Taking stock of the mission of Yoossem-Kontou Noudjiamlao in Cameroon, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo, Minister of External Relations, noted that he further contributed to the consolidation of the ties of friendship, harmony and dialogue between the two States.

During his stay, the Chadian diplomat will have personally worked in favour of the consolidation of security and other border and multi-dimensional cooperation.

This mark of esteem earned him to be elevated to the distinction of Grand Officer of the national order of Valour.
