Cameroon elaborates full Tuberculosis response

A National Tuberclosis Program elaborated to treat the disease using a wholistic approach has been proposed.

A meeting to present a project proposal in strenghthening comprehensive reponse to tuberclosis in Cameron has taken place at the headquaters of the National Tuberclosis Program.

The proposals elaborated by the committee seeks to; Treat and Cure tuberclosis and to get stakeholders to be involved in the fight.

At the end of the session, the Permanent Secretary of the National Program for the Fight against TB, Dr Abena Foe Jean Louis lauded the initiative.

He said information technology will be an important milestone for 2017 if the targetted 31 thousand TB cases are diagnosed and treated.

The project proposal was conceived by the civil society organisation. "For Impacts un Social Health".
