Cameroon hosts C'wealth parliamentarians tomorrow

Some 800 delegates from 53 countries are expected at the 60th Parliamentary Conference of the Commonwealth in Yaounde, the Cameroonian capital, from tomorrow October 2 to 10, APA learnt Tuesday from the Organizing Committee.

Placed under the theme: "Repositioning Commonwealth over the 2015 agenda", work will be carried out in workshop panels on subjects as the role of the Parliament, governance, women's rights, youth and development, education or vulnerable social strata.

On the sidelines of the Conference, a parliamentary women's Summit of countries using the English language will be held.
