Cameroon has confirmed its participation in the 5th Ministerial Conference on Korea-Africa Economic Cooperation (KOAFEC), to be held from October 20 to 23, 2014 in Seoul, the economy ministry said on Saturday.
The announcement was made after the farewell ceremony of the South Korean Ambassador, Cho June Hyuck.
Cameroon’s Minster of Economy Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi will be the keynote speaker at the ministerial round table planned during the conference, the statement said.
Cameroon will also take the opportunity to finalize agreements for financing projects with the Korean government, including the construction and equipment of Garoua reference hospital (North) and the modernization of the custom system.
