Willy Tadjudje, a PhD under co-supervision of the University of Luxembourg in Switzerland and the University of Yaoundé II-Soa, has just received the prize for the best thesis in business law and Community law in respect of the year 2014 at Ecole supérieure de magistrature des Etats Member States of OHADA (Ersuma), among 20 candidates.
The results were reported 05 December by Félix Onana Etoundi, Director general of the institution based in Porto-Novo, Benin.
Willy Tadjudje was awarded a prize for his dissertation on the topic: "for a right of cooperatives and mutual societies in OHADA, Contribution to the elaboration of a right to social and solidarity economy”.
The Scientific Committee - composed of professors Ndiaw Diouf, Roger Masamba and Léopold Isidore Miendjiem - awarded him the first prize with a score of 16,12/20.
The prices were granted on the basis of five criteria: quality of drafting (misspellings and grammar, syntax, punctuation); adherence to the standards of presentation of academic and scientific work; originality of the work; relevance of the issue; scientific contribution of the thesis.
The first prize consisted of a sum of one million francs CFA and the second prize a sum of 750,000 francs CFA. Theses held this year will be published in the digital library of Ersuma and are also downloadable at the online library of the Ohada.
