Captain Tonyè Marie Angèle laid to rest

Homage was paid to this officer of the national gendarmerie in the headquarters last Friday.

Captain Tonyè Marie Angèle lived and completed his race under the flag. That was until the morning of June 14, chief of the information Office of the first region of gendarmerie in Yaoundé died after a brief illness.

Full military honors were rendered to the extirpated at quartier generale last Friday.

The ceremony was chaired by major-general Simon Pierre Dagafounangsou, Commander of the first region of police, representing Mindef.

In the eulogy read by Squadron Mvondo Belinga, it retains that Marie Angèle who entered the national gendarmerie as captain in 1986, has been assiduous until the end.

His leaders keep him in the image of an exemplary element, always well noted.

When Marie Angèle Tonyè was puts at the service of the national colours, he was then 24 years old.

On his shoulders, all stripes ranging from student Constable and Captain have arisen.

It was at 10h50 that he departed for ever from cour d'honneur of the headquarters leaving speechless his comrades. Captain Tonyè Marie Angèle was buried Saturday at Ekie in Yaoundé.
