Departing for Europe last night, the President of the Central African Transition made a technical stopover in the capital.

Red carpets, piquet of honour consisting of 16 elements of the presidential guard were part of the warm reception according the diplomatic figure.

Catherine Samba Panza was received at the foot of the plane, on behalf of the head of State, by the Prime Minister, head of Government Philemon Yang, together with the Ambassador of CAR in Cameroon, Martial Martial Beti-Marace.

Ms. Samba Panza then handshake with the present administrative authorities, including the Governor of the central region, Otto Joseph Wilson, the prefects of Mfoundi, Jean Claude Tsila and the Mefou-and-Afamba, Mbemi Nyaknga, the Government delegate at the urban community of Yaoundé, Gilbert Tsimi Evouna.

In the VIP lounge where she was installed, she had her first interview with Philemon Yang. About 20 minutes later, she left the airport aboard the presidential limousine for the Hilton hotel where she was lodged.
