The president of the National Assembly held on Thursday its ceremony in violation of the order of precedence that puts the Senate at the forefront of parliamentary institutions.

Relationship between the Senate and the National Assembly of Cameroon do not appear to be the most cordial. A new episode of this squabble took place on Thursday, January 8, 2015. Cavaye Yeguie by-passed Marcel Nasser Njifenji on the occasion of the presentation of the New Year wishes.

The president of the National Assembly received the "Happy New Year" wishes in the afternoon, shortly after the president of the Republic. Even though it should have been done after those addressed to the President of the Senate as noted by an observer.

He wondered what it would have served the Prime Minister to wait till 12th January 2015 to organize its presentation of vows ceremony. The evidence according to the expert is that, even if there is no formal regulation, the Organization of presentation of vows ceremonies can simply not be optional.
