Cavaye Yeguie discusses security with French Ambassador

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril has granted audience to the French Ambassador to Cameroon, Christine Robichon.

Discussions during the meeting on 24th September, 2014 centred on the security situation in the Far North Region of the country.

According to Ambassador Christine Robichon, the tête-à-tête was intended to give her an idea on the difficulties faced by inhabitants of the region, as well as the refugees from Nigeria.

After the talks, the French diplomat promised to relay information on the situation to her home country, France in a bid to reinforce humanitarian assistance.

The dialogue also focused on strengthening the existing ties between the National Assemblies of both nations.
