Chadian General lauds effort of soldiers at war front

Records of the recent Boko Haram war reveals that 71 Chadian soldiers were killed and 416 injured during the three months of combat against the Nigerian terrorist sect Boko Haram said General Brahim Mahamat Seid, Chief of the General Staff of the Chadian armed forces last Friday.

"From January 17, 2015 to date, our valiant armed forces fought with professionalism and determination against Boko Haram. They hunted this nebula in its various benchmarks," General Mahamat Seid Brahim said.

Despite this heavy macabre balance sheet, the chief of staff of the Chadian armed praised the work done by its troops in eleven Cameroonian localities, Nigeria and the release of Nigerian captives from the hands of Boko Haram.

These include the cities of Fotokol in Cameroon, Gambaru, Dikwa, Gachagar, Talagam, or Abadam Malam Fatori in Nigeria, Bosso and Niger.

"The Chadian armed forces continue to hunt down Boko Haram terrorists wherever they are, with the same determination to bring peace and security to our wounded people," concluded General Brahim Mahamat Seid.
