Their concerns and proposals were collected through a drawing competition organized by UNDP in Garoua.

In this context they were required to elaborate the agenda of the objectives of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs ) post 2015. The United Nations development program decided to gather the concerns and proposals from the base. And after students, civil society and economic operators, the floor was given to children through a drawing competition in the northern and eastern regions.

Under the theme "the future we want: how I see the Cameroon of tomorrow", children of the primary and nursery schools in competition, drew what represents for them the priority of the coming years, accompanied by subsequent posts. "It is important that the children appropriate challenges of the MDGs."

"And for them, drawing seemed to be the most appropriate form of expression to express their aspirations', says Galina Chus, representative of the Coordinator of the United Nations for Cameroon, at the awards ceremony for primer winners, Monday in Garoua.

With the competition centered on the messages of peace, preservation of the environment or a better access to education for all, the best works were awarded.
