China pledges to support Cameroon in 3-year emergency plan

The Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China, His Excellency Wei Wenhua has indicated China`s intent to accompany Cameroon in her three years emergency plan and vision 2035.

The Chinese diplomat was speaking during a cocktail party at the Chinese residence in Yaounde that saw the attendance of members of the diplomatic corps in the country and some Cameroonian officials.


According to the ambassador, China is prepared to carry on major development plans in the political and socio-economic domains, a means he believes will help in the realisation President Paul Biya`s three year emergency plan.

He used the occasion to note China`s economic and business influence in Africa and in Cameroon to be specific which has been marked by the construction and rehabilitation of infrastructure including stadia, roads and the granting of Scholarships to Cameroonian students amongst others.


It is worth noting that china has in the past years exhibited a high degree of prowess through her extensive investments in all parts of the world and a national growth rate of a 7.4 per cent growth rate in 2014.
