The Chinese community in Cameroon now has a new bureau to pilot the affairs of their chamber of commerce in the country. The new team led by Lin Zim Wei was presented to the rest of the Chinese community and the press in Yaounde on Saturday August 30.
This was during a dinner at a restaurant at the Bastos neigbourhood in Yaounde which also served as an opportunity for Chinese miners in Cameroon to present the new union to their compatriots.
The new association led by Lu Jian Feng is to work for the respect of their interest in the different mining sites as well as sensitise members to scrupulously respect the rules and regulations of the mining sector and Cameroon’s State institutions.
They said it will consolidate the peaceful coexistence of the people for their mutual development.
According to Hon. Parfait Gwodok Kouang, CEO of Cameroon-China Consulting Business House, working with Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the chamber serves as a link between Chinese investors in Cameroon and potential ones in China.
He noted that it defends the interest of Chinese business people in Cameroon as well as work to facilitate administrative procedures for those existing or willing to invest in Cameroon.
