Streets all over the country are in motion as preparations for Christmas Day intensify.

Shops downtown Yaounde are flooded with parents struggling to buy Christmas gifts for excited children.

At other corners of most shops are those who stopped by to either get some house decorations or food items for Christmas parties.

The food markets are not left out of the picture as many queue up at the butcher’s, the grocer’s and other strategic spots, bargaining for what they will consume at Christmas.

In the meantime, others seem to be torn between tailors, seamstresses and clothes vendors, as they choose their attire for 25th December, Christmas Day.

The evenings in the nation’s capital have been lit with Christmas lights and other décor on the streets, adding to the beauty of the season; beauty lovers do take advantage of to sit in and renew their commitments.
