The findings were presented Friday, during the visit to the site by members of the monitoring cell at the site in Memve'ele.

Dieudonné Bisso led the imminent members of this forum on the site of construction of various structures, namely: the spillway, the main dam, the lead channel on its length estimated at 4 km and the site where the actual plant is built.

Thus, the first phase of the main dam with a length of 1850 is complete. For this part, the experts estimate its rate at 100%. For the second part of the work work will be continued by the progressive installation of essential components which will make, at the end of the work, a huge cofferdam at the top of which a surfaced road will be constructed. And that is not all: water intakes, here called "flood spillway", will also undergo progressive implementation. Three valves are mounted. The civil engineering work is carried out at 95%.

"The timing of the work is good," supported Dieudonné Bisso. An idea corroborated by Roger Dimbi, head of project planning and technical manager. Satisfied, members of monitoring unit departed convinced of a fact site: deliver the project on time is a real gamble.

Everything suggested that before 2017, date of entry into maximum operating four turbines, electricity will be already produced at Memve'ele.
