Consupe Issues Guidelines to Officials

Officials of the Supreme State Audit Office appointed by the President of the Republic were commissioned into their functions on February 13, 2014.

The officials of the Supreme State Audit Office appointed by the President of the Republic, Paul Biya in separate decrees last January 30 and February 3, will work using guidelines the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit, Henri Eyebe Ayissi gave while commissioning them into their functions on February 13, 2014.

The officials will therefore work with a permanent quest for performance, positive impact in protecting public funds and property, promotion of excellent behavior, respect for professional ethics, optimal use of public funds for general interest and above all, work to fulfill the mission of the institution as the "Gendarme of Public funds", the Minister said.

The commissioned officials included State Inspectors, Internal Auditor, Technical Advisers, Heads of Divisions, Directors, Unit Heads, Chiefs of Services and Assistant Research Officers. The Minister used the occasion to thank the Head of State for the new organizational chart of the institution that has innovations for its better functioning.

The ceremony also served as the occasion for the staff of the Supreme State Audit Office to present 2014 Happy New Year wishes to the Minister. Other highlights of the event included the award of medals, letters of appreciation to some staff as well as gifts to staff going on retirement and one of the former Technical Advisers who is now Senator.
