Some Mayors, secretary Generals and municipal treasurers and council commercial agents and accountants have been taught on how to document information on the computer in a five day seminar.
The seminar which is geared on sustainable development was organized recently in Bana the West Region, by the National Community Driven Development Program (PNDP).
During the workshop, the regional coordinator for PNDP for west disclosed to participants the enormous opportunities and benefits in the use of formatted documents.
The coordinator encouraged council members to use the formatting accounting system which will help to fight against poverty and to achieve the millennium development goals.
The following topics were treated in the seminar better ways of to manage software for the storage of information and digital divides to digital bridges, updating and preserving information in computers.
The senior divisional officer for Upper Nkam who opened the event, said the workshop will help to accelerate development process that will help them achieve their economic and social agendas.
