Crisis in the car: Cameroon reinforce existing peace keeping mission

Some 175 officials from the 11th motorized intervention brigade in Ebolowa have left the south regional capital of Ebolowa for Yaoundé to begin formalities leading to their peacekeeping mission in the republic of central Africa.

The troop is expected to boost the international peace keeping force better known as Mission International de Soutien a’ la Centrafrican MISCA, which is led by Cameroonian born Brigadier General Martin Tumenta Chomu.

During an official farewell ceremony, the commandant of the 11th Motorized Intervention Brigade Simon Ezo’o Mvondo relayed the instructions of the military hierarchy.

He reminded them that they were very good soldiers and the mission to the Republic of Central Africa is another opportunity to proof your worth.

They are presently undergoing medical examinations. All travel formalities shall be carried out by competent authorities before 150 of the 175 leave for the four to six month mission.
