Decomposed body of baby found in pit hole

Newborn discovered in abandoned pithole in state of decomposition in Yaoundé (quartierEkié ).The body was partially decomposed and surrounded by flies and maggots that picked at it.

The discovery was made around 3:22 p.m at quartier Ekié, according to Charles Atangana with the Yaounde Police Department.

As the news went out of the discovery, residents and market women quickly gathered at the scene to take a closer look:The sight and surrounding ordour proved overwhelming for most.Police are urging the public to come up with information that will lead to the parents
