Disabled persons embark on peace campaign in CMR

They intend to raise awareness on the importance of contributing to the maintenance of peace in Cameroon.

Cameroon disabled and vulnerable people under the leadership of the National Association of young disabled people of Cameroon (Anajehcam) organize this Thursday, September 18, 2014 in Douala a 'citizen works for peace in Cameroon '.

This event took place at Salle des fêtes of Akwa - Place du Government de Bonanjo. Through this event, they will discuss "awareness on the importance of contributing to the maintenance of peace in the country, draw the attention of the populations on the consequences and the post-conflict throes, express support to the head of the state his Excellency Paul Biya and armed forces engaged at the front," explains the president of the Anajehcam Jean-Pierre Fopa.

The organiser noted that Cameroon lies at the crossroads after the abuses of the sect Boko Haram which creates havoc, injure people and in addressing the institutions of the State.

What according to him, "provoked a firm determination of the head of State which deserves to be supported by all social strata to go at the end of this threat and keep forever this peace sine qua non for the development of our country".
