Douala: 104-year-old man still vigorous

The life of Anatole Adolf Ebongo is a source of inspiration to numerous Cameroonians who are still grappling with life and destiny.

Even at 104 this old man is still active and abreast though on a wheelchair.

Adolf Anatole Ebongo who has lived to witness the Colonial days in Cameroon is a Douala born who obtained his Certificate d’Etudes Primaire Elementaire CEP– (an equivalence to the First School Living Certificate) in 1927.

After his Primary School Certificate, He moved on to the Ecole normal of Foulassi the Ntem Division of the South Region where he graduated with outstanding performance and became a teacher in Yabassi and later on Douala.

Anatole Adolf Ebongo driven by his ambitions, switched on to the customs profession where he was made the company director of customs in 1968.

At 104 Adolfe Ebongo is a source of inspiration to many especially the youths who according to him can be successful in life should patience and hard work be their watch word.

He also desires youths to discover their giftedness at their early ages, grow in them so they can become a source of inspiration to others.

He is a happy father of eight.
