Dze Usu engages in media war with Baba Danpullo on land claims

Dze Usu, which is spearheading the fight to reclaim 10000 hectares of land from Baba Ahmadou Danpullo, has issued a press release.

Dear all,

Baba Amadou Danpullo has resorted to intimidations and harassments of administrative officials around Wum and Bamenda.

He is blaming them for not protecting the land he is attempting to illegally grab from the natives of Esu. Danpullo claims he has spent several millions with administrative units to help him own the land.

One of our volunteer attorneys has received threats on his life and career and will be meeting with “Le …procureur” today. We are still gathering other sources with pertinent information about plans by Danpullo and cohort and we will update the public.

All Usu people living in Esu or out of Esu are hereby invited to stay tuned, ready and respond to any call to come home and fight against fraud, conspiracy, and harassments.

Baba Danpullo is using his usual weapons he knows best- bribery and corruption, fraud, influence and intimidations to subjugate the very government officials that are charged with ensuring justice and rule of law to help him grab land in Esu.

If an attorney is being harassed for representing Esu in court, one wonders what kind of verdict the very court was/is preparing as court ruling? The land was never sold to Danpullo, by late Fon HRH Meh Buh- if he did, why couldn’t Baba claim the land while he was still living??

We are aware of the fraudulent signatures and we will never surrender our land. No batallion of gendarmes or soldiers will STOP us.
