The party sails in calm water since there aren't any adversaries in the zone.

The six villages that make up the Ebang sector in the Soa Sub Division of the Mefou and Afamba Division, Centre Region converged on Nkometou I, Wednesday to reassure their unflinching support for the ruling party while promising a 100 per cent vote during the upcoming twin elections.

The president of the CPDM campaign commission in the Ebang sector who is also Director of the General Secondary Education in Cameroon, Ondoa Messi travelled to Nkometou with a pack full of promises including the extension of electricity and pipe bone water to the sector. A fortune he said only the CPDM ballot can guarantee should the population strive to give the party a 100 per cent vote.

Ondoa Messi beseeched the Ebang sector to desist in-house fighting, bury differences in order to secure 100 per cent participation rate in both legislative and municipal elections on September 30. Ondoa Messi said about 92 per cent voter's cards were already retrieved. In all, the Mefou and Afamba Division is poised to grab all nine councils and two legislative seats with a candidate from Ebang going in for one of the two seats.

Though the sector has no rival party, sub-commission leaders embarked on a daily door-to-door campaign to swell participation rate. Electors staged a match in support of President Biya's strive to attain emergence by 2035 after watching a voting demonstration by one of the orators.
