Equinoxe television rewards workers, appoints new service heads

The names of service heads and their deputies were made public in front of over a hundredth staff on Tuesday December 27, 2016 during the General Assembly Meeting chaired by its General Manager and owner Séverin Tchounkeu.

Eric Kouamo was maintained as Editor-In-Chief with Eric Martial Djomo, Nfor Hanson Nchanji and Nana Paul Sabin as first, second and third deputies respectively. Besides being Deputy Editor-In-Chief, Nfor Hanson Nchanji was charged with coordinating the English Desk while Nana Paul was charged with coordinating the radio.

The Director of Programs Serge Alain Otou and his Deputy Marial Fanga were maintained. Ephraim Yemele was maintained as Technical Director, Emmanuel Wappi and Charles Minoue as Director of Production and Deputy.

Regional Heads

Guy Zogo was appointed as head of Centre, South and East Regional desk with same capacity as Deputy Editor-In-Chief alongside Roland Akong and Marceline Gansop as Deputies.

Jean Paul Choun Nyat is now in charge of West and North West regions.

Emmanuel Job was appointed as head of productions for Centre, South and East regions.

Best Personnel

Cedrick Noufele, 8 pm news anchor, was named best personnel of the year 2016. He was also promoted to the rank of Senior Reporter.

Best program went to Regards Social presented by Eric Kouamo.

Equinoxe Television which has distinguished itself in Cameroon and Africa as being the first on striking news events, according to Séverin Tchounkeu, must remain on the summit.
