The circle ‘mess général de brigade Benae’ was inaugurated Thursday by Minister Secretary-General of the Presidency, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh."6th November 2014, Mr Ngoh Ngoh Ferdinand, Minister Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic inaugurated the circle ‘mess Brigadier Benae’, in the presence of air Brigadier, Chief of staff individual of the Presidency of the Republic and Madame Veuve Benae Henriette".
This was in fact a double ceremony of inauguration and dedication by the presence of other persons, in addition to those whose names were bequeathed to posterity by the plaque. They included, the Secretary of State for defence, responsible for the gendarmerie, Jean Baptiste Bokam, the Director of the presidential guard, general Ivo Desancio.
This circle, according to colonel Blaise Engolo is responsible for operations and information systems and communications to the individual staff. The will of the head of State is to improve the living conditions of military personnel", as expressed in Bamenda, in 2011, during the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the armed forces.
The late General Blaise Benae Mpecke, who was honoured through this centre mess, was Etat-major particulier of the president of the Republic from 1986 until his death in 2007. A minute's silence was observed at the ceremony in his honor. He also received posthumously, through his wife, the diploma of the Medal of the cross of the military valor of Cameroon.
