Tension persists at the Presidency of the Republic due to the degrading situation of staff who have been for several months without wages. The current climate at the main stewardship of the Presidency of the Republic is at the center of this scandal.

The main Steward at Etoundi, Foe Ndi is on the hot seat as ground staff are angry because they are suffering due to a number of maneuvers spearheaded by him. In fact, a list of thousands of fictitious employees had been identified, and large sums of money have been spent every month for the care of these ghost workers.

Had it not been for the intervention of General Ivo of the Presidential Security Division (PSD), an employee would have committed this heinous act.
However, the situation is still unsolved, ( salaries are more than six months in arrears), to the extent that wages are paid in halves.Sometimes, they receive FCFA 16,000 or FCFA 20.000, an amount which is insufficient for the monthly ration and transportation per month.
