Brahim Menoumour came to Yaoundé to bamboozle the head of State with the help of several accomplices.

Many wise people who follow Boko Haram in northern Cameroon were surprised by the presence of a certain Brahim Menounour in the media in the capital, in the August 11, 2014 edition of La Nouvelle.

Indeed, the man presented by this paper as a 2nd degree sultan of Kobro-Blangoua usurped this title, and is an impostor. Not only that there is no Sultanate in the Borough of Blangoua but the unique traditional chiefdom of second degree is that of Ganatir, where the installation of the new head is still expected as a result from disputes concerning his designation.

According to source, he usurpes this position, certainly to give more weight to allegations served to personalities of charges against nationals of the far North on their supposed links with the sect Boko Haram.

Brahim Menoumour who even wanted to meet the head of State to share his "information" and make a profit, decided to throw the opprobrium on peaceful citizens, no doubt to give more consistency.

Here for example is an excerpt from an article attributed to Brahim Benoumour in the columns of our colleague, La Nouvelle August 11, 2014, on Alhadji Abraham Tom, businessman known in the region, Deputy Mayor of the rural town of Kousseri and member of the central Committee of the CPDM.

"Brahim Menoumour has only one idea in mind: meet President Paul Biya." He has many things to say to him. On Boko Haram, On the current complicity of the local mafia and the Nigerian Islamist sect.

"He probably wanted to defraud the head of State with the complicity of a few people, in relying on white wire sewn cases", said today a safe source. Reached on telephone, Alhadji Ahmat Tom categorically denies these charges and says he has taken all steps to restore his honour in these times of amalgam. He thus files in Kousseri, a judicial procedure against the false Kobro-Blangoua leader for defamation.

Similarly, we learnt, Alhadji Abraham Tom will file a complaint Monday, August 18, 2014, at the national communication Council (Cnc). The man blames La Nouvelleof defaming him relating in his columns misleading allegations of Brahim Menoumour without any precautions.
