Fighting Drug Abuse: Cameroon on the offensive

The National Drug Control Committee will organise a sensitisation walk on the dangers of drug trafficking and abuse on Saturday,July 2, 2016, in Yaounde.

The walk is part of the committee's strategy to engage in the fight against drug abuse.

It is worth mentioning that statistics from the Ministry of Public Health indicate that about 15.000 youths between the ages of 13 and 15 have either come in contact with drug abuse or have abused of drugs.

Amongst strategies to stop drug abuse by the youth, the President of the Association for the Fight against Drug Abuse, Rudolph E. recommended that parents strictly follow-up their children and their social activities.
