Fire
The shop with is situated between the Select Bakary (Boulangerie Select) and the la Reserve cabaret was in huge flames as the types in the shop ease the spread of the ravaging flames.
The fire fighters that intervened took about two hours to contain the flames and stop it from consuming neighbouring.
The cause of the fire has not been established however extent of damage was attributed to the fact that the building was made of temporal materials, mainly wood.
Most of the neighbouring houses are also built with wood.
Clients of the bakery and the snack who were caught in panic and other members of the neighbourhood who saw huge flames and fumes of smoke stood by and watched the fire fighters battle the flames.
No human casualties were recorded but investigations have been opened on the origin of the fire whose quenching led to the blocking of traffic for about 2 hour on the etoile Meki road.
