Littoral Governor, Joseph Beti Assomo presided at the official installation ceremony.

"In the past, it was said that time is money, but today we can say time is development." It is with the above statement that the Governor of the Littoral Region, Joseph Beti Assomo on Thursday December 27, 2012 officially installed five new regional heads of services into their respective functions.

The Littoral Governor's Office received Ludovic Ngbwa as the new Secretary General and Njikum Aboubakar as the new Inspector General. Both were appointed recently by presidential and ministerial decrees. Meanwhile, the others were the new Regional delegates for Tourism and Leisure, Jerome Ngah Obiaga; that of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development, Sidi Baré and Martin Massoda as the pioneer Regional branch head of the National Civic Service Agency for Participation in Development.

From their general and specific responsibilities, it was incumbent on the new bosses to ensure the strict respect and implementation of earmarked programmes. The need to be pace-setters, assiduous, fight corruption, the effective deployment of personnel and resources at their disposal, amongst others, are equally bones of contention. Lastly, they were enthused to uphold the trust placed in them by hierarchy, especially towards achieving vision 2035 of an emergent Cameroon, as prone by the Head of state, President Paul Biya.
