The Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) Christian Men Fellowship (CMF) National Committee (NATCOM) is breaking grounds nation-wide in its crusade to fight against societal ills.
After evangelizing in the East Mungo presbytery, the CMF National Committee delegation last lap of evangelization and sensitization wrapped up in the North West Region of the West Mungo Presbytery on Monday, March 25, 2013.
In a ground-breaking evangelization and sensitization crusade at PCC Bamunkah, Ndop on Sunday March 24, the NATCOM delegation visited the North West Governor’s Office, Mezam SDO, CRTV Bamenda, Bafut and Mankon Fons’ Palaces on Monday, March 25, 2013 with very positive results.
In all the stops, the National president of CMF, Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle, as well as the National Secretary for Men’s work, Rev. Dr. Fai Michael, condemned in very strong terms societal ills that have taken Cameroon hostage notably, bribery, corruption and embezzlement within the church including homosexuality and most importantly, the deliberate relegation of Religious knowledge to the back ground. Hear them, “These ills have completely taken our country into the den of the devil with moral decadence coming out prominently as its consequence”
Harping on Religious knowledge, Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle, opined that it should not only be made compulsory at all levels of education but Religious Diplomas should become a prerequisite for anybody to gain employment ” and any student who succeeds in any examination should be considered having failed if he or she did not pass in Religious knowledge”.NW Governor congratulating Ntumfor Nico Halle
Amidst a standing ovation, the Fon of Mankon, HRH Angwafor III who also doubles as the First Vice National President of the ruling CPDM party, said he was not only proud of the NATCOM crusade against societal ills but was going to join the crusade body and soul. “Before now it was a taboo for some one to steal in the Fon’s palace, but today, my palace is burgled every other day with impunity”. He hailed Ntumfor Nico Halle whom he described as a renowned moralist, peace crusade, cum international legal consultant, for championing the crusade against societal ills through the Christian Men Fellowship of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon. Fon Abumbi III of Bafut, who also
supported NATCOM’S moves, disclosed that he is CMF member body and spirit. He said his palace was where P.C.C. started in Bafut some 102 years ago. “My palace has a prominent place in the evolution of the church in the Bafut presbytery” he stressed that Ntumfor’s slogan of change, transparency and accountability was yielding fruits in the P.C.C, adding that CMF under Ntumfor was moving mountains.
Earlier at the North West Governor’s Office, H.E. Lele L’Afrique Adolf, who equally declared that he is a Christian, congratulated NATCOM’S nation-wide evangelization and sanitization of the public against societal ills. “What CMF under my friend, Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle is doing is very commendable. The crusade in no small way, is building this nation.”
He assured the NATCOM team that he was going to deliver the message on making Religious knowledge compulsory, to the Head of State, pleading with CMF to pray for him.
One of the high lights of the evangelization was the special Bibles and some important books eked out to the Governor, Fons and CRTV Bamenda Manager by the NATCOM team. The beneficiaries of the Bibles were encouraged to read them first thing in the morning if they want to live up to expectation.
