Françoise Foning's funeral postponed

The funeral date for the late Honourable Françoise Foning has been rescheduled to March 21, 2015 in Bafou, Western region.

The remains of madam Foning will be removed 3 days prior to the burial, from the mortuary in the Yaoundé General Hospital and sent to Douala where the deceased lived for the most part of her life.

The economic capital is in mourning since the announcement of the death of Madam Foning. The Queens of Bandjoun around Wouri were there to comfort the relatives of the deceased.

Before the Queens of Bandjoun, we had received visitors from the Department of Ndé, Haut-Nkam, Menoua of Sawa and many others. There are also religious communities, businessmen here and abroad, not to mention that she was the head of 30 CPDM sub-sections. Brief recollection is done every night" noted Roger Tchoungo who was adviser to the late Françoise Foning.

In Douala, the vigil will take place on Thursday, 19 March, at the Bépanda Reunification stadium.
