French Embassy intern discovers Cameroon Tribune

The intern in the French Embassy in Yaounde had discussions with officials.

Esther Feuillerat, an intern in the Communication and Media Unit in the French Embassy in Yaounde now better understands Cameroon Tribune in particular and globally the Cameroon News and Publishing Corporation (SOPECAM) in which Cameroon Tribune is just a department.

She was led to a courtesy and familiarization visit to the newsroom of Cameroon Tribune Monday, June 6, 2016 by Léopold Stefanini, Political and Media Adviser in the French Embassy.

Her visit to Cameroon Tribune newsroom was part of the tour of media organs, with which she will work during her six-month period of internship in Cameroon.

During discussions with officials of Cameroon Tribune led by Managing Editor, Martin Badjang ba Nken, the intern was told much about the structure and functioning of SOPECAM and newspaper.

Discussions also touched on the new status of SOPECAM, current events in Cameroon, as well as the current June 2016 session of Parliament and tabling and examination of bills.
