Funeral Program for Mme Mboutchouang Rosette begins today

The Mayor of Bangou and mother of Chantal Biya, First Lady of Cameroon, who died on 2nd October 2014 shall be buried on Friday 17th October 2014 in Mvomeka in the South Region of Cameroon.

According to a release signed by the Director of Civil Cabinet at the Presidency of the Republic, the mortal remains arrive Cameroon from South Africa this Monday 13th October.

There shall be vigils and prayers at her Bastos residence on Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Thursday at 11 AM, the corpse leaves the Yaounde General Hospital to the Cathedral Notre Dame where a special mass shall be said.

Immediately after, the remains of Mama Rosette, as she was fondly called, shall be taken to Mvomeka where an all night vigil shall be organized.

She shall be buried on Friday at 3:00PM.
