Gov’t preoccupied with integration of youth

An agreement was signed between the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education and the CGA-CoPME in Yaounde recently.

The socio- economic and integration of youths is a major preoccupation of government. It is for this reason that a protocol agreement was signed between the been the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education and the Cameroon Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CGA-CoPME) at the Multipurpose Reference Centre for Youth Empowerment in Madagascar Yaounde (CMPJ-Ref Yaounde) recently.

Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou said the protocol agreement is in line with the policy of the Head of State in the development of youth projects and also in line with the road map of the ministry for 2016. He hailed the partners for their support in the promotion and development of youths.

The protocol agreement between the Ministry of Youth affairs and civic Education and the CGA-COPME is a framework of collaboration on the installation of incubators of enterprises in multipurpose centres for the promotion of youths in the domain of New Information Technologies.

The CGA-CoPME will provide expertise in the domain of promotion, training, support and accompanying the youths in the throughout the process of integration till empowerment.
