With regard to major projects, the Minister of employment suggested to engage Cameroonians in jobs held by foreigners.
"The Government cares about the representativeness of the local workforce in the posts allocated by businesses engaged in Cameroon". The Minister of employment and vocational training (Minefop), Zacharie Perevet, said Thursday at the Council's office of the month of October, chaired by the Prime Minister.
Minefop made a presentation to the other members of Government on "the regulation of the foreign workforce in enterprises operating in Cameroon".
Zacharie Perevet noted that there is "a specific legal regime in Cameroon which strictly regulates the use of workers of foreign nationality", he noted.
