Seventy Senegalese have been repatriated on the night of Friday to Dakar.

Majority are former Central African Republic residents who fled the conflict before taking up refuge in Cameroon.

They are not the first civilians to be repatriated from the Central African Republic, but this is the first time that this kind of operation has taken place in Cameroon.

Issene revealed that "we left our home, car, motorcycle, everything and fled into the Bush to Cameroon. There is a base there. Every two weeks, they give us clothes, food. We stayed eight months."
