Some mineral water producers in the Fako Division of the South West Region have been cautioned to watch out for proper hygiene and sanitation.
Authorities of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Technological Development told six water operators to ensure quality production of water.
They were also told to master the rules and regulations that govern the sectors.
In order to better handle the problem of fake water operators, The Divisional Delegate of the Ministry of Industries Mines and Technological Development, Kono Pauline promised regular sensitisation meetings with stakeholders to ensure the respect of standard and quality.
The first assistant S.D.O for Fako who had also chaired the meeting Lokombe Nafongo Vincent said the administration will hence forth watch closely the quality of water served especially as Limbe will launch two major sporting events.
