The Adjudant is remanded for alleged conspiracy to cause murder in Bamali village.

The Administrator of the Bamenda Central Prison, Prison General, Tiwa Jonas has confirmed the custody of HRH Edzisuh Nepu Sahfua of Bamali village since 4th May, 2015 in the Bamenda Central Prison.

Edzisuh Nepu Sahfua, who is also an Adjudant at the service of the North West Gendarmerie Legion, was remanded to Prison custody by the State Counsel of Mezam jurisdiction for alleged conspiracy to cause murder in the Bamali chiefdom in Ngoketungisa division.

The Sate Counsel, Justice Nchang Augustine confirmed the charge but maintained sealed lips on further questions when Cameroon Tribune contacted him on 5th May, 2015. It however, emerged from the corridors of the State Counsel’s Chambers that HRH Adjudant Edzisuh Nepu is awaiting trial with one Joseph B. whom he allegedly sponsored to murder his brother, HRH, Sahfua Waiska Muapekou, sometimes in 2013.

It is alleged that things later turned ugly when the said Joseph instead informed the would-be target, HRH Sahfua Waiska of the evil plan. At press time, judicial authorities in Mezam were still considering the Court in which HRH Adjudant Edzrisuh will prove his innocence since he is a judicial police officer.
