Hans de Marie Heungoup released

Under arrest in the northern region, specifically in the Borough of Rey Bouba, the researcher of the international Crisis Group and the Foundation, Paul Ango Ela, has been released.

"I confirm my release but I have no statement to the press", says Hans de Marie Heungoup. He was on a mission in this part of the country when he was arrested on the instructions of the sub-prefect of Touboro.

International Crisis Group issued September 4, on the socio-political situation and security in Cameroon, situation recommending Paul Biya not to stand in for the 2018 presidential election in the country, said the NGO.

Hans de Marie Heungoup has escaped the jaws of the lion of Touboro.
