The 2014 New Year wishes were presented to the Prime Minister, Philemon Yang on January 13, 2014.
Staff of the Prime Minister's Office and those of auxiliary services on Monday, January 13, 2014 presented New Year wishes to the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang.
This was at a speechless ceremony at the Star Building that was full of solemnity and commitment to work harder in 2014. On arrival at the ceremonial ground, Philemon Yang was welcomed by the Secretary General in the Prime Minister's Office, Louis Paul Motaze and the Director of the Prime Minister's Cabinet, Paul Ghogomu Mingo.
After reception, Louis Paul Motaze set the ball rolling for the event as he led the staff of the General Secretariat to shake hands with and wish the Prime Minister, happy New Year 2013. The Director of Cabinet, Ghogomu Paul Mingo came second, leading the delegation of the staff of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister's Office.
Delegations of auxiliary services to the Prime Minister's Office then filed past with each of its members shaking hands with and saying Happy New Year Mr Prime Minister. The delegations included that of the National Communication Council, National Governance Programme, National Road Board, Permanent Secretariat of the Regulation and Competitiveness Board and Permanent Secretariat of the National Decentralisation Board.
The Prime Minister's Office Security Staff, Special Brigade of Reporters and members of the Protocol also wished Philemon Yang Happy New Year. After the hand shakes, the Prime Minister waved and greeted the jubilant staff.
