Hemle team, made up of Hot Likeng André Cyrille, Hiag Ken Martial and Nken Edithe, will represent Cameroon at the 35th edition of the Global Management Challenge in Prague, the Czech Republic on April 21, 2015.
The team proved its ability in handling management and business strategies and the challenges that come with it. In a five-minute presentation before a jury, they succeeded in taking the right decisions as concerning marketing, human resources, finance and corporate social responsibility.
The team leader, Hot Likeng André, convinced the jury in his impressive presentation through PowerPoint projection, explaining his team’s strategies in simple terms. “Hard work and team spirit is our strength,” he explained.
The competition, which is geared towards promoting academic excellence, professionalism and creating entrepreneurial spirit among youth, was organised in Cameroon by Educarriere Cameroon.
Educarriere is an online company geared towards career orientation, education and entrepreneurship. Its Country Manager for Cameroon, Melissa Mbang, revealed that Global Management Challenge is one of the biggest tournaments on management and business strategy in the world.
Some 113 teams started the national competition, with 21 retained for semi-finals, eight for finals. At the end, the Hemle team emerged the national champion to represent Cameroon in the Czech Republic.
Cameroon will be participating for the second time in the international finals that usually comprise 400,000 participants from 30 countries.
