The National Institute of Youth and Sports (INJS) has graduated its 2015 batch of students nicknamed “Cavaye Yeguié Batch”.
The 246 students, four from the Republic of Gabon and two from the Republic of Chad received their certificates this 2nd September 2015 at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex.
Sports and Physical Education Minister and Board Chair of the institution, Adoum Garoua presided over the graduation ceremony.
Minister Adoum Garoua praised the laureates for their outstanding performances and urged them to be committed civil servants, loyal to the nation. He also called on them to avoid malpractices and be models in the field.
A laureate, Enome Chrysantus Ngome, indicated that he is ready to give the best and will do his work with commitment, as a patriot.
Another laureate Tifu Ambeck Aristide said she is ready for the field and will do her best to practice what she has been taught in school.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon Cavaye Yeguie Djibril and the Minister of Higher Education, Jacques Fame Ndongo were present at the ceremony.
On the occasion, the Speaker of the National Assembly received an academic distinction for his role in the promotion of academic excellence.
