A very enthusiastic Indo-British business magnate, Vinod B. Tailor was granted audience on Wednesday 5 November 2014 by the Head of State His Excellency Paul Biya. Vinod B. Tailor is Chief Executive Officer of the Holding CSGIG PLC and he was accompanied to Unity Palace by an official of the company, Rodolphe SIMO KAM.

Following the audience that lasted well over thirty minutes, Vinod B. Tailor told reporters that he was delighted to have discussions with the Head of State on the investment opportunities in Cameroon. He revealed that he was the bearer of a letter from the British royal family to President Paul Biya.

The business magnate outlined the projects which his company intend to set up in Cameroon, which include a world class reference hospital, four luxury hotels and a large shopping centre. He indicated that the construction work on these projects will begin in January 2015 and that they should be completed by December 2017.

Vinod B. Tailor declared that he will also promote business investments in Cameroon by Western and Indian companies as he has realised that the country has a lot of potentials.

Responding to a query from reporters about the possible setbacks to the implantation of their projects, the CSGIG Plc officials declared that they had the full support of the Government and that all the Ministers involved in the vetting of their projects have given them encouragement and support. They are therefore very optimistic that the projects will be carried out on schedule.
