Faced with his impertinence and arrogance an investigation was launched to get his academic background to confirm whether he actually attended the London Business School.
To achieve this Boris Bertolt says a group of four Cameroonian residents in the United States, France and England was put together .The group Initially try to find out any information saying he studied at the London business School.
After that, it was necessary to contact the school. We wrote simultaneously to the London Business School and the London School of Economics. London Buisness school made no reply. The London School of Economics informed us that they could not find a ABATE CLAUDE in their files. But we should contact the London School Buisness.
Thus, they decide to go through an international recruitment firm to make the approach to the university through a US contact(name withheld)who works for a recruitment firm in the United States who knows the latter and has also heard that he is involved in several cases of fraud. Thus, she decided to give us a hand.
The investigation team decided to find out about his MBA degree from the London business school. On March 19, 2016, the team of four decided to send a direct mail to the school in which they say ” the US recruiter will be recruiting for a for the US firm account department which is based in Houston- Texas, indicating to the university that “Claude Daniel Abate wants to be hired by Exxon Mobil Houston in the capacity of Treasurer and has mentioned that he studied at the London Business School and asked whether they can confirm and send an email to give more information on his input and output. The London School Buisness responded on the 21th March 2016.
In the response, the university tells the US recruiter staff who is a Cameroonian that by the information and privacy act, they should receive a letter from the candidate( Claude Daniel Abate) allowing them to deliver any information about him. At this juncture, the investigation team were following developments with great attention making sure they were on track.
The team then wrote a second letter with the letterhead of the “recruitment company” on behave of Claude Abate asking the London business school to give all the information to the office because his recruitment to Exxon Mobil in the US is at a turning point.
The investigation team wrote a false letter from Claude Daniele Abate On April 5, 2016, to Eszter at the secretariat in charge of MBA in Finance at the London Business School.The said letter authorized London Buisness School to deliver all the necessary information about him. Also in the same letter, they asked Eszter to reach them by phone in case of any trouble.
Two days later, April 7, 2016, another letter was sent to the university informing them thatUS based recruiter are stocked and that so far they have received no response and that recruitment should be completed during the current week.
The London Buisness school responded the same day requesting the date of birth of the student. Instantly the date of birth of Claude Abate was sent. On April 13, 2016, the response of the MBA FINANCE from the London School Buisness finally arrived.
“There is no student named Daniel Claude Abate in our files.” The team further asked Eszter not to be limited to MBA in Finance but to search all databases from the London Business School.
On April 13, 2016, at 11:55, the university replied: “Based on all the information that you gave us the name of Claude Abate is not in our database. I even tried several combinations with date of birth, I could not find it.
” For clarification, the university recalls and confirms again that the name of Claude Abate not in any university database.
