The 2015 roadmap of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (Minpostel) drew its activities on three programmes, presented Friday by the Minister Jean-Pierre Biyiti bi Essam.
He presented them Friday in Yaoundé, during the traditional ceremony of new year wishes from the staff to the head of Department. Minpostel spoke of the densification of the network and improving the national coverage of direct-mail as the first axis. Then comes the development and optimization of the use of telecommunications and ICT infrastructures and finally, the sector policy support.
Jean-Pierre Biyiti bi Essam noted that "from 2013 to 2015, programmes remained will be unchanged. He therefore urge colleagues from the postal sector, one year after the inauguration of the e-Post, to raise the emulation which will enhance the performance and profitability of this platform, dedicated to give a new impetus to our postal services.
In the sector of telecommunications and ICT, Minpostel announced a year rich with various projects: the establishment of the national network of emergency telecommunications, coverage in the Bakassi area, the construction of 15 new community telecentres mobile network, etc.
