The artist and Cameroonian Pan-African activist has decided to file a lawsuit against the two main economic operators in the country. He accused them of "harassment and advertising terrorism, nuisance and disorder”.

In the lawsuit bearing the heading, "movement for the new African consciousness" filed on 21st October at the Court of first instance in Douala-Ndokoti, he wrote that, "we have been customers of these companies for many years. We have always settled invoices as good citizen. But for several years, we have been victims of disturbance on our phones, our own properties, due to heaps of unsolicited messages".

Joe La Conscience quoted disturbed sleep as a result of unsolicited messages from these telcos. Sometimes they come in the form of advertisement.

Joe La Conscience asserts that these cause him financial loss, reason why he has decided to file a lawsuit against MTN and Orange for a compensation.

According to sources, this is not the first time the Loum sculptor has done this. It could be recalled that in June 2011, he accused artistes Lady Ponce and Petit-Pays of deprave manners that promoted indecency and obscenity.

He eventually lost the trial against the two stars of the Cameroonian music, who were found not guilty of promoting homosexuality and incitement of prostitution. The date of the trial against MTN and Orange has not yet been set.
