On his Facebook page, freelance journalist Serge - Aimé Bikoi posted, "I was violently attacked on October 19, 2014 in Yaounde. After having stopped a taxi at Etoa-Meki for CRTV Mballa II to participate in the show "Scènes de presse", I was attacked by a Quartet who pretended to be a taxi driver and passengers.

After taking me around the city, they finally stopped at a dark area where they took my money and camera. Luckily for me, I left my cell phone at home. Otherwise, it would have been gone too.

"After beating and plundering me of my valuables, these mischievous guys finally left me at Tongolo. Thanks to the kindness of some two passers-by who saw me in a traumatic and stressful state, I was led to my home safely.

"I leave these thugs I cannot identify to be judged by the omnipotent God in the Court of heaven.

Conversely, if they are individuals without faith or law who were manipulated into carrying out this dirty task against me. They should know and be warned that this will not go unpunished as they will cross first: the blood of my late mother, the blood of my father still alive; the blood of my younger brothers and sisters before they reach me!

Serge-Aimé is a freelance journalist, development sociologist, teaching at the private higher education institutes and Secretary General of the executive bureau of the Capec (African Council for ethics and citizenship).
